The PRS100 multiLED lamp-for Ruthenium and Metalloporphyrin labels

The PRS100 range of lamps are bright, highly stable, high-frequency modulated light sources for area illumination. These lamps were developed in collaboration with the Defence Evaluation Research Agency (DERA) as excitation sources for imaging pressure-sensitive paints. The lamps feature state-of-the-art ultrabright LED technology to provide compact high brightness light sources producing minimal infrared radiation and which do not require the usual long warm-up time associated with commonly-used arc sources. The lamps are robust and can be used in low pressure, low temperature environments making them ideal for wind-tunnel applications. They have ON:OFF type modulation and can be used both for time-resolved fluorescence measurements and as ultrafast stroboscopes. The lamps are available in three wavelength bands; Blue (470nm)-Serial No. PRS100B, Blue-Green (500nm)- Serial No. PRS100BG and Green (525nm) Serial No. PRS100G.
